Venue: We can visit a pool near you or main classes are at Eltham Leisure Centre (YMCA), Susan Street, Eltham.

Session Times: Thursday 11:30 – 12:00 and Friday 1:00 – 1:30 (or as required for one:one class)

Sporting Injuries    Post/ Pre operative

  1. Arrive 10 minutes prior to class, ensuring adequate time to get changed, take a shower
  2. You MUST NOT enter the pool until the physiotherapist is present
  3. Take care with wet floors, especially if using walking aids, no running
  4. Following the session shower, have a caffeine-free drink and a rest as you may be tired

Please Bring:

  • Own Bathers
  • Towel
  • Toiletries
  • Thongs
  • Warm clothing following the session

If any of the following apply to you. You MUST CANCEL your session or notify your Physiotherapist prior to the hydrotherapy session.

  • Excess alcohol consumption
  • Raised temperature
  • Infection
  • Unstable blood pressure
  • Infected, open or unhealed wound
  • Breathing problems
  • Continence problems
  • Cannot swim
  • Dermatitis
  • Plantar warts
  • Severe tinea
  • Fear of water
  • Heart problems,
  • Oedema
  • Vascular Disease
  • Diarrhoea, do not enter the pool for 1 week & 4 weeks for children

Valuables:   Should be left at home if possible or keep them within visible range
